Authours Guidelines

Guidelines for Authors

The IJPS is a care listed journal. Please ensure the following before submission

  1. Word Limit : Article or Research Paper should not exceed 3000 words including graphs and tables. If the author wishes to publish the article/ research paper beyond the mentioned limit, then one has to pay Rs. 500 @per page (additional processing charges). A page should have a maximum number of 350 words.
  2. Format of the Research Paper:
    a) Title: It should be brief and precise. Please refrain from using abbreviations in the title. Please also include a brief title of 3/4 words to be used as the paper’s running head.
    b) Authors: The name and the institutional affiliation of all the authors must be mentioned at the bottom of the abstract of the research paper
    c) Abstract: It should not exceed the limit of 200 words. It should be short and include four/five important concepts, findings and implication of the study.
    d) Introduction: Introductory part should be precise and pertain tothe specific area of study covering only relevant research. The author has to mention the importance and uniqueness of the study as compared to the earlier studies in the field. This part must include the general introduction, review of literature, relation of the current study with the existing literature, and the statement of the problem.
    e) Objectives/ Hypotheses: These should be made under separate headings.
    f) Methods: This section consists of the design of the study, participants, measurement tools, and procedure.
    g) Results:Only pertinent information should be provided; results offered in one form (e.g., tables) should not be repeated in other forms (e.g., text and graphs). Minimize the number of tables and please specify in the text where tables and figures should be appeared.
    h) Discussion: This is the most important section of the study, write it carefully. Initiate with the general aim of the study then discuss the major findings in the light of existing theory and the relevant past works. Results should not be combined with the discussion. It should also include the unique achievement of the study.
    i) References: Citations in the text and references must be consistent. Mention complete journal names.Do not cite the references of abstracts or unpublished paper/ article/ theses. Please follow the APA 7th edition style for writing references.
