India has been a male-dominated society for ages, and most of the people find it hard to believe that males can be a victim and females a perpetrator. Gender stereotypes within the family structure are deeply ingrained in Indian society. Men are often expected to be the primary providers and decisionmakers, while women are typically assigned domestic responsibilities and caregiving roles. These stereotypes can influence family dynamics, power dynamics, and interpersonal relationships, impacting the psychosocial well-being of individuals within the family unit. The study explores the perspective of males regarding gender stereotypes of women in Indian society. This study comprises 800 males selected from various districts of Haryana. Gender Stereotype Scale and Attitude Towards Women Scale Short Version were used to study the age range 20-60 years. Correlation and One-Way ANOVA have been used. Findings revealed that gender stereotypes are significantly negatively related to attitudes towards women in all groups of males
