The primary aim of this investigation was to compare the psychological well-being and self-esteem of individuals who frequently update their personal information on social media with the individuals who either do not post or post little of their personal information on social media. The former set of people has been mentioned as ‘updaters’ and later as ‘nonupdaters’ in this study.
